We are nearing the end of the year and I decided to enroll in 2 Udemy courses and learn more about slow cooking. I love the smell of good food in the house on a cold winter day. I’m single so I don’t do a lot of cooking and working on going out for meals less and eating healthier. I have had a Crock-Pot for almost 2 years but haven’t really used it. Below I’m going to tell you a little more about each course and show you what I have made so far.
First off if you go to Udemy.com and type in search words “slow cooking” the 2 courses I took should show up first.
Lose Weight With Slow Cooking
I enrolled in this course because I know the instructor and I had been thinking about using my Crock-Pot more. Udemy Instructor Jack Wilson has lost over 50 pounds and has become a fitness expert over the last several years. His girlfriend Leandra Trydal who is a Gluten Free expert and who has Celiac disease, joins him to teach this course which features several healthy recipes that are easy to make. Jack covers his favorite seasoning for Crock-Pot cooking and Leandra joins in to show of several recipes that look tasty including Taco Chicken.

Easy, Healthy, Crockpot Cooking!: Cooking Lessons for Dad
The 2nd Slow cooking course I am taking is from Udemy instructor Karen Breyer. What I like about Karen’s course is that it is geared towards men. I know that I am personally not a fan of cooking and that my own dad probably wouldn’t know what to cook if my mom weren’t around. Karen’s course goes into more details on what a slow cooker is, mostly known by the brand name Crock Pot. It also includes some great recipes. I tried the spaghetti squash and ended up overcooking. Karen had suggested that I probably bought a spaghetti squash that was a little too big. I am hoping to try some of her other recipes soon.
I got in touch with Karen and she was generous enough to provide a coupon for the course. Make sure you enroll soon because coupons are usually limited and can expire at anytime.
